Wow, there is nothing quite like being backstage at a runway show. The excitement, the hustle and bustle of rehearsing, plumes of hairspray, racks brimming with the latest fashions, glorious spreads of makeup, and of course, an insane abundance of beautiful people all in one place. It can get quite overwhelming at times, but for me, it was heaven. Here's a look at my first runway show from my point of view- backstage!
Behold, my beautiful best friend, Morgan! Not only did she hook it up with a press pass and made this wonderful experience possible for me, but I got to be there with her while she walked in her very first runway show! It was so special that we both were able to support each other at an event like this, and of course, she killed it out there!
One of the models for House of Ra sporting a feisty peekaboo romper and some bad ass leather cuffs which are part of the KOJA leather line.
Lovin' the chunky statement necklace and showstopping makeup in this House of Ra look! The cobalt blue, scarlet, and gold accents made for a super chic color combo.
I can't get over this dynamic duo. Not only did these girls rock the pixie cuts, but they did a fabulous job of showcasing the dramatic yet glitzy House of Ra black ensembles. It really doesn't get much fiercer than this...
Lastly, here I am with the lovely Maya Vita, designer and stylist of this House of Ra collection and the star of the night! So funny that we both opted for a pair of black harem pants for the evening. Congratulations on your collection, Maya, you are such an inspiration!
